About SLSG

Sri Lanka Society for Gastroenterology was established in the year 1988 aiming to raise the profile of gastroenterology and hepatology in Sri Lanka and achieve excellence in care for patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases.

Its membership consists of medical gastroenterologists/hepatologists, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgeons and other related health professionals.

It aims to promote education, research and training in these fields. It also aims to increase awareness among the patients, their caregivers and the general public.
